Born and raised in Hong Kong till the age of 12, I was taken to the suburbs of Cupertino, in the San Francisco Bay Area for the remainder of my young adult life. At the age of 18 I packed up and moved to NYC, with the intention of becoming a set designer in the theatre world, but ended up stumbling into the world of architecture, art and design at Parsons The New School.
After a brief stint teaching and working at a start up design and construction firm, I am now entering my last year as a Master of Architecture candidate at Columbia University’s GSAPP. True to my introductory education at Parsons, I am branching out, resisting labels, and broadening my horizons.
I am currently collaborating with artists and designers
in the fields of interiors, graphics and branding, web design, music, jewelry, fine art, exhibitions, fashion and product design. I recently co-founded The Interval, an online publication promoting gender parity in theatre, dedicated to smart girls who love the theatre, and also appreciate art, culture, and HBO.
